A RESOLUTION ADVOCATING FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN PEDESTRIAN SAFETY CONDITIONS ON AND AROUND THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI CAMPUS

PURPOSE: To express the Missouri Students Association’s intent to advocate for improvements in pedestrian safety conditions on and around the University of Missouri campus.

WHEREAS, pedestrian travel is essential to the way of life of students at the University of Missouri; AND

WHEREAS, pedestrian safety conditions at numerous locations on and around campus are poor; AND

WHEREAS, the Missouri Students Association serves as an advocate for the student voice and interest; AND

WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the student body for the Missouri Students Association to advocate for improvements in pedestrian safety conditions on and around the University of Missouri campus,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSOURI STUDENTS ASSOCIATION that the Missouri Students Association declares its intent to advocate for the improvements of pedestrian safety conditions on and around the University of Missouri campus.
