AN ACT TO GRANT THE MISSOURI STUDENTS ASSOCIATION TRAVEL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,599

PURPOSE: To provide members of the Missouri Students Association Executive and Legislative branches with funds to travel to the SEC Exchange in Tuscaloosa, AL.

WHEREAS: the SEC Exchange is a beneficial convention not only to MSA but the entire student body, allowing the association to learn how to better our campus; AND

WHEREAS: the SEC Exchange provides a platform to share ideas with the other SEC schools to gain knowledge as well as broadcast it; AND

WHEREAS: the SEC Exchange has garnered ideas inspiring such auxiliaries as Tiger Pantry and Truman’s Closet, as well as allowed Mizzou to share STRIPES success with the SEC; AND

WHEREAS: The SEC Exchange has potential for uncovering even more groundbreaking concepts for the Association and Mizzou as a whole.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSOURI STUDENTS ASSOCIATION SENATE that the Missouri Students Association be awarded funds in the amount of $3,599 from the MSA Travel Pool.
