52-16: A Resolution Supporting the New Transportation Services of Tiger Line

PURPOSE: To encourage the Missouri Students Association to support the new transportation services of Tiger Line.

WHEREAS, the previous transportation system needed to be reformed and revised due Columbia Transit’s continued loss of money; AND

WHEREAS, Tiger Line runs seven days a week during the fall and winter semesters and is available to all Mizzou students; AND

WHEREAS, Tiger Line is paid for by student fees and has no additional costs; AND

WHEREAS, Tiger Line day routes run in approximately 10-minute intervals from 7am-6pm Monday-Friday; AND

WHEREAS, Tiger Line night routes run in approximately 30-miunute intervals and are available 6:00PM – 1:30AM Monday-Saturday and 12:00PM – 1:30AM on Sundays.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSOURI STUDENTS ASSOCIATION SENATE that the students of the association support the newly offered services of Tiger Line.
