A Resolution in Support of the Implementation of a Dedicated University of Missouri Mobile Application That Will Be Supported by the Division of IT

WHEREAS, the Missouri Students Association has realized the need for a mobile application for student/University communication, and

WHEREAS, a MSA member has been involved with these talks, and

WHEREAS, the Division of IT has shown their support in implementing an official mobile application, and

WHEREAS, there is currently a iPhone application being developed by MSA called “iMizzou”, and

THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Missouri Students Association Senate supports the development and implementation of a mobile application by the Division of IT, and

THERFORE, be it further resolved that the Senate supports any name of the application using the names “Mizzou,” “University of Missouri,” “Tiger(s),” or “Missouri” in the final name, and

THEREFORE, be it further resolved that the Missouri Students Association be charged with monitoring the implementation of the mobile application.
