AN ACT TO HAVE THE CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE WORK IN COHESION WITH GREEK WEEK IN 2010

WHEREAS, Greek Week provides an opportunity for the University’s Greek students to celebrate their four core values: leadership, scholarship, brotherhood/sisterhood, and service and,

WHEREAS, as of fall 2009, Greek students represent 22% of undergraduate students at the University of Missouri and,

WHEREAS, Greek Week is the largest student-run event during the month of April at the University of Missouri and,

WHEREAS, the Campus and Community Relations Committee has been charged with the duty of improving MSA –Greek relations and,

WHEREAS, publicity from Greek Week will reach target audiences throughout the University and the state and,

WHEREAS, sponsorship will better establish relationships with students and staff at both the

WHEREAS, CCRC will ensure the participation of volunteers from MSA in Greek Week’s Blood Drive and,

WHEREAS, CCRC will send a liaison to the Greek Week meetings and,

THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED that the Campus and Community Relations Committee will be charged with the co-sponsorship of the Missouri Students Association and Greek Week.
